COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies have a pair of promotions lined up for Friday night's soccer match against the Auburn Tigers. The squads will be meeting for the fifth time in the last three years when they face off in the 7 pm match.
Friday is Social Media Night at Ellis Field. Fans who “Like” or “Follow” Aggie Soccer on social media will receive a limited-edition koozie at the marketing table, while supplies last.
The marketing is also holding a Wallet Drop prior to Friday's match. 350 promotional wallets have been dropped on campus for students to find. The wallet is theirs to keep and includes information for how they can win great prizes at the match vs. Auburn.
Texas A&M is 11-2-1 on the season and stand in second place in the SEC with a 5-1-0 league ledger. The Aggies feature the top scoring duo in the SEC with Shea Groom and Kelley Monogue. Groom leads the league with 26 points and 12 goals. Monogue ranks second in points (25) and third in goals (9).
