CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Texas A&M junior guard Courtney Walker was named Preseason All-SEC by a select panel of media. Texas A&M was picked to finish third in the league, in a poll released by the league at its 2014-15 Tip-Off.
Walker, an AP All-American a year ago, has been named a Preseason All-American by Athlon, Lindy's and The Sporting News this season. Walker averaged 15.6 points per game in 2013-14, and set the Texas A&M sophomore scoring record with 563 points.
