COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 7 Texas A&M has a plethora of promotions lined up for Thursday's match against Georgia, a contest in which the Aggies can claim an SEC title. First kick for A&M's regular-season finale is slated for 7 pm.
It's senior night for one of the most acclaimed classes in the history of the program. The Aggies will honor their nine seniors prior to Thursday's match. The senior celebration will include a fireworks display prior to first kick.
As part of 'Aggies Can', the largest student-athlete run canned food drive in the nation, fans who donate two or more canned goods will receive free admission to the match.
The Junior Aggie Club will present a Fall Festival. There will be special activities for kids 12 and under, including pumpkin decorating and games. Kids 12 and under who wear their Halloween costume receive free admission.
There will be a Dixie Chicken cup giveaway for Texas A&M students while supplies last.
The Aggies enter the regular-season finale with a one-point lead over Florida in the SEC standings. Florida hosts Vanderbilt in a 6 pm contest on Thursday. If Florida loses, the Aggies would win an outright SEC regular-season title regardless of the outcome of their match. If Florida ties, the Aggies would win an outright title with a win or a tie and A&M would share the title with a loss. If Florida wins, the Aggies need a win to capture an outright title and an A&M loss or tie would give the Gators an outright title.
The Aggies are 14-2-2 on the season and lead the SEC with 25 points on an 8-1-1 league ledger.
