COLLEGE STATION- The popular Women's Basketball 101 for Ladies returns in 2014 on Monday, November 3 at the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball. The ladies-only event starts at 6 p.m., with casual dress and athletic shoes recommended.
The $30 cost of the program includes a catered meal, t-shirt, five teaching sessions, and an optional social hour in the Lohman Lobby with a cash bar. The program accommodates all levels of basketball knowledge, with insight for both the first-time and long-time fan.
Hall of Fame coach Gary Blair, along with the entire Texas A&M coaching staff and team, will provide insight into the game of basketball and discuss the upcoming 2014-15 season, as the Aggies return 10 of the their top 11 scorers from a team that went 27-9 and reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
