COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 9 Texas A&M equestrian team will travel to Blythewood, South Carolina to take on the No. 3 South Carolina Gamecocks at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 31. The Aggies are currently 2-1 on the season while South Carolina is 1-2.

This will mark the SEC opener for Texas A&M while South Carolina is 1-1 in SEC play.

“We are looking forward to competing at South Carolina,” Aggie head coach Tana McKay said. “This will be a true testament for our team as all of the SEC competitions are extremely tough.” All four of the SEC schools are ranked in the country's Top 10.

Texas A&M and USC met twice in regular season action last year and split the difference, with the home team taking the win each time. The teams met for a third time at the SEC Championship, where the Gamecocks bested the Aggies 12-7 in the first round.

Junior Marlena Parker will try to carry over her success from the last meet, where she took MOP honors in both Hunter Seat competitions.
