BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Texas A&M true freshman quarterback Kyle Allen was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his record-setting passing day in the Aggies' 41-38 road win over No. 3 Auburn.

Allen, from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., matched the Texas A&M freshman record with four passing touchdowns, all in the first half, and enjoyed the eighth-best passing day by a freshman in school history with 277 yards. Allen connected on touchdown strikes of 60, 35, 23 and 7 yards in just his second career start. Allen became the first true freshman QB to win his first road start since Corey Pullig led the Aggies to a 38-30 win over Houston in the Astrodome in 1992.
In six games this season, including two starts, Allen has passed for 647 yards and eight touchdowns on 55-of-95 passing (57.9 completion percentage).

OFFENSE
Kyle Allen, QB, Texas A&M
·        In true freshman Kyle Allen's first SEC start (he started the non-conference home game against Louisiana Monroe last week), he completed 19-of-29 passes for 277 yards and four touchdowns against one interception in leading the Aggies' to a 41-38 upset victory over #3-ranked Auburn on the road.
·        The four touchdown passes ties a Texas A&M freshman record.
·        He also rushed the ball twice for a net minus one and was only sacked once.
DEFENSE
Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
·        Second on the team with a career-high 13 tackles.
·        Also had a tackle for loss (-3 yards).
·        Defense limited LSU to 259 yards in four quarters plus overtime (183 rush, 76 pass).
·        From time LSU recovered fumble at Alabama six-yard line late in fourth quarter through game-winning TD in overtime, Tide defense held Tigers to negative 16 yards on eight total plays.
·        UA defense now ranks third nationally in rushing defense, second in scoring defense and fourth in the country in total defense.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Isaiah McKenzie, KR/PR, Georgia
·        McKenzie became only the second player in the NCAA FBS this year and only the 12th in NCAA FBS history to return both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the same game, giving him three special teams scores this year.
·        He took the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, which is the longest KOR for a touchdown since Todd Gurley went 100 yards against Clemson this year and second longest for the Bulldogs in Lexington after Brandon Boykin went 100 yards in 2010.
·        McKenzie then took a punt back 59 yards in the third quarter for a touchdown, which gives Georgia a KOR and a punt return for touchdowns in the same game for the first time since 2006 (different players that game).
FRESHMAN
Treon Harris, QB, Florida
·        Threw for a career-high 215 yards.
·        Rushed for a career-high 49 yards and two touchdowns.
·        Completed 13 of 21 passes, six for first downs, including a 48-yarder and a 60-yarder.
Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
·        Chubb had his fourth consecutive 100-yard rushing game thanks to 170 yards, including a career long 55 yarder, on just 13 carries (13.1 avg.) and a touchdown during Georgia's 63-31 win at Kentucky.
·        He finished the opening half with 116 yards and a score on seven carries (16.6 avg.) and ended up only playing three quarters total.
·        During Gurley's absence, Chubb has started the last four games at tailback and has 671 yards on 102 carries (6.6 yds/carry) and five rushing touchdowns.
·        Chubb has been a key component of the Bulldogs going for more than 300 yards rushing for the third time this season.
OFFENSIVE LINE
Arie Koaundjio, OG, Alabama
·        Top grade on offensive line at 92 percent.
·        3 Knockdowns, no hurries, no penalties, no sacks, and no pressures allowed.
·        Offense drove 55 yards for field goal to tie game with just three seconds remaining.
·        Offense scored a touchdown on first possession in overtime that led to eventual 20-13 win.
·        Alabama now ranks 3rd SEC/19th FBS in total offense (487.3 ypg).
DEFENSIVE LINE
Lorenzo Carter, DL, Georgia
·        Carter got his first career start and responded with a career-high nine tackles, including 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss.
·        Carter and the rest of the starting defense played only three quarters and allowed 24 points and just 285 yards.
