Here are the 10 things you need to know before Saturday's meet against No. 5 Georgia

COLLEGE STATION - The No. 9 Texas A&M Equestrian team will close out the fall portion of their schedule on Saturday when they take on the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs at 10 a.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Center. Here are the #TopTen things you need to know before then:

1. Tana McKay and Meghan Boenig founded the Texas A&M Varsity Equestrian program in 1999 …
2. …Boenig then left College Station in 2001 to do the same for the University of Georgia
3. UGA will be the first Southeastern Conference school to compete in the Hildebrand Equine Complex
4. This meet will be the first of a three-game homestand for the Aggies
5. Texas A&M Jr Logan Pluhar competed at the AQHA World Show Collegiate Challenge this week and placed second … making her the third Aggie to bring home an award in the history of the event, following in the footsteps of Molli Jacobs (3rd place) and Carey Nowacek (1st)
6. Georgia is currently ranked 5th and enters the season with a 2-2 mark, 2-0 in conference play … this is the third consecutive top 10 program the Aggies have competed against in 2014
7. Georgia is 1-1 on the road while A&M is undefeated at home this fall
8. A&M is looking for their first victory over UGA since 2011 … when they also defeated the Bulldogs in College Station
9. Texas A&M is currently the No. 9 program in the NCEA rankings
10. This is the final meet for both teams before heading into the midseason break
