COLLEGE STATION – After winning two of three games at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off last weekend, the Texas A&M men's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of Reed Arena Friday afternoon when the Aggies kick off a three-game home stand by hosting New Orleans in a noon contest.
TEXAS FARM BUREAU MEMBER DISCOUNT
Texas Farm Bureau Insurance members get admitted to the game for free. By showing their Texas Farm Bureau ID at the box office, members will receive two free tickets to Friday's game.
BAYLOR GAME STUDENT LOTTERY
Texas A&M students who attend the first three men's basketball home games will have a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to see the Aggies take on Baylor in Waco on Dec. 9. The package includes transportation, a meal and two tickets to the Baylor game. One grand prize winner will win VIP tickets behind the team bench.
All students need to do to be included in this promotion is scan their sports pass when they come into the first three games of the season.
KID'S COURT
Prior to the game kids (Sixth grade and younger) can participate in “Kid's Court” inside the men's practice gym from 11 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.
Kids and parents can access “Kid's Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and follow the signage for “Kid's Court”.
SPORTS PASS = FREE ADMISSION TO BAKSETBALL FOR A&M STUDENTS
The same sports pass that allows Texas A&M students to pull tickets for Aggie football games will give A&M students free admission to basketball all season long. All Aggie students need to do is swipe their student ID at the student entrance to Reed Arena (North entrance).
