COLLEGE STATION – Riding the momentum of four consecutive victories, the Texas A&M men's basketball team will host one of its biggest non-conference games of the season Saturday when the Aggies welcome Arizona State to Reed Arena for a 1 p.m. contest.
PEPSI $5,000 HALFCOURT SHOT
Fans can sign up at the 12th Man table to be chosen to try their hand at a half-court shot at the intermission, with a $5,000 prize.
PERCUSSION STUDIO TO PERFORM AT HALFTIME
At halftime Aggie fans will have the chance to enjoy a performance by Percussion Studio, a drum and percussion group that performs a variety of eclectic ensembles. Check out Percussion Studio on twitter @percstud.
KID'S COURT
Prior to the game kids, (sixth grade and younger) can participate in “Kid's Court” inside the men's practice gym. From 12 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.
Kids and parents can access “Kid's Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and follow the signage for “Kid's Court”.
TEXAS FARM BUREAU MEMBER DISCOUNT
Texas Farm Bureau Insurance members will be admitted to the game for free. By showing their Texas Farm Bureau ID at the box office, members will receive two free tickets to Saturday's game.
IN-GAME CONTESTS
A few fans will get the chance to show their skills on the court in the Wells Fargo Shoot to win and Chick-Fil-A's 3-Point Shootout. Mad shooting skills could get fans a $5 - $100 prize.
SPORTS PASS = FREE ADMISSION TO BAKSETBALL FOR A&M STUDENTS
The same sports pass that allows Texas A&M students to pull tickets for Aggie football games will give A&M students free admission to basketball all season long. All Aggie students need to do is swipe their student ID at the student entrance to Reed Arena (north entrance).
