COLLEGE STATION – Putting its undefeated home record on the line, the Texas A&M men's basketball team is back in action inside Reed Arena on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. when the Aggies host Youngstown State. The game is part of a doubleheader with the A&M women's team, who open the twinbill by facing Houston at 1:30 p.m.
ONE TICKET WORKS FOR BOTH GAMES OF SATURDAY'S DOUBLEHEADER
Fans who attend the women's game on Saturday will get the chance to stick around when the Aggie men's team hits the floor. Fans that have tickets to the women's game but not the men's game will be allowed to sit behind the basket for the men's contest.
Additionally, fans who only have a ticket to the men's basketball game are invited to come early and watch the women play at 1:30 p.m. A ticket for the men's game permits that fan to sit behind either one of the baskets for the women's game.
HOLIDAY HOOPS PRESENTED BY TEXAS A&M HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER
Every Texas A&M men's and women's home basketball game between December 13th and January 3rd, will feature reduced General Admission prices as part of "Holiday Hoops Presented by: Texas A&M Health Science Center”. Come see the Aggie Men for $5 and Aggie Women for $4.
TEXAS FARM BUREAU MEMBER DISCOUNT
Texas Farm Bureau Insurance members will be admitted to the game for free. By showing their Texas Farm Bureau ID at the box office, members will receive two free tickets to Saturday's game.
FEMMATAS TO PERFORM AT HALFTIME
Femmatas, an all-female A capella group consisting of Texas A&M students, will treat fans to a special Christmas performance at halftime.
POSTER MAKING CONTEST
Fans have the chance to show off their creativity at the 12th Man table Saturday by making posters to support the Aggies. The fan whose poster is judged to be the most creative will win a Jason's Deli gift card.
JUNIOR AGGIE BOOTLINE
All kids (Age 6-12) are invited down to the court near the end halftime to welcome the team back on to the court for the second half. To participate, kids are asked to meet marketing representatives at the bottom of section 106/107 after the halftime performance.
FRESHMAN LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION UNITY DAY
Saturday will be Freshman Leadership Organization Day at Reed Arena with the FLO organization that brings the most people to the game receiving an autographed team basketball.
IN-GAME CONTESTS
Several fans will get the chance to show their skills on the court during the Wells Fargo Shoot to Win and Chick-Fil-A's 3-Point Shootout competitions. Shooting skills could net fans prizes valued from $5 - $100.
SPORTS PASS = FREE ADMISSION TO BAKSETBALL FOR A&M STUDENTS
The same sports pass that allows Texas A&M students to pull tickets for Aggie football games will give A&M students free admission to basketball all season long. All Aggie students need to do is swipe their student ID at the student entrance to Reed Arena (north entrance).
