Kitty Holley, the first women's golf coach in Texas A&M history, passed away on December 30. She was 80 years old.
Holley was A&M's women's golf coach for 17 years, starting with the program's inception in 1974. Holley led the team to the Southwest Conference Championship in 1985 and to a fifth place finish in the 1982 NCAA Championships.
Services are planned for Bryan at Hillier's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday, January 2 with the service at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 3.
