
Danielle Adams, Maccabi Ashdod, Win Israeli Title

ASHDOD, Israel- Former Texas A&M All-American Danielle Adams and Maccabi Ashdod defeated Elizur Ramla 78-76 in overtime to win the Israeli Championship three games to one on Thursday. Adams scored 19 points in the series-clinching win.
Adams, who was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2011 Final Four while at Texas A&M, averaged 22.8 points over the four games of the championship series. She still holds Texas A&M's single-season (22.3) and career (19.5) per-game scoring record.
Adams is also on the roster of the San Antonio Stars of the WNBA, where former A&M teammate Karla Gilbert is also in camp. The Stars' season starts May 16.
