COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Spots are still available for the Texas A&M softball team's Winter Skills Camps, set for Jan. 17-18, 2014, on the Texas A&M campus.
The camps, split into three hitting clinics and two pitching sessions, will be open to players ages 10-to-18. Attendees will receive instruction from current and former members of the Texas A&M softball team, as well as the Aggies' award-winning coaching staff. The hands-on instruction of the camp is specially designed to improve each aspect of a player's game.
Campers attending a hitting session should bring a bat, batting gloves, a batting helmet, cleats and tennis shoes. Pitchers will need to bring a glove, cleats and tennis shoes, but will not need to bring their own catcher.
To maximize instruction and repetition, spaces are limited so sign up now. Each session will cost $125, and a $25 discount is available to those who register for two clinics. To register, go online to 12thMan.com/camps and click on Registration.
The Aggies ended the 2014 season at the NCAA Regional level, making their 25th trip to the postseason and 13th straight under Coach Evans, who was recently named as part of the 2015 NFCA Hall of Fame class.
