No. 11 Texas A&M (15-3, 3-1 SEC) hosts Ole Miss (14-4, 4-1 SEC) at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 18 inside Reed Arena for an SEC showdown. Several promotions are in store for the game.
WE BACK PAT
This game marks the third annual We Back Pat game at Texas A&M. The week-long initiative is focused on bringing awareness and recognition on to The Pat Summitt Foundation, a fund of East Tennessee Foundation, and its fight against Alzheimer's disease.
SEC member institutions will support The Pat Summitt Foundation on during their home basketball games, January 18-26. During the women's games slated for the week, various efforts will be made to increase awareness of The Pat Summitt Foundation.
SPECIAL CONCESSIONS AT REED
Special concessions will be available behind Section 105 in Reed Arena. Items include Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo and a Smoked Pork Po'Boy.
Additionally, Buffalo Chicken Nachos & Sandwiches, Pulled Pork Nachos & BBQ Pork Sandwiches will be available at the concession stand below the student section.
BOOKMARK GAME
Over 9,000 bookmarks have been distributed to the local community and schools. The bookmarks promote reading and can be used for free admission to the game.
About 1,000 additional bookmarks will be handed out to children attending the game.
PARENTS WEEKEND
The families of the Texas A&M women's basketball student-athletes will be in attendance and recognized at halftime
YOUTH YELL LEADER CLINIC
The Second Annual Youth Yell Leader Clinic takes place at 1:30 p.m. inside the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball. The children who have signed for this event received a game ticket and t-shirt. Registration for this event is now closed.
KID'S COURT OPEN
Prior to the game children are invited to in “Kid's Court” inside the women's practice gym beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.
Kids and parents can access “Kid's Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and following the signage for “Kid's Court”.
BASKETBALL EQUALS FREE
Students with a 12th Man Sports Pass receive free admission to all home exhibition and regular season Texas A&M Women's Basketball games. Present your student ID at the north entrance of Reed Arena to be admitted to the game. Tickets are available for students without a 12th Man Sports pass for $4 at ticket windows.
