College Station, TEXAS – Aggie equestrian sophomore Kaci Fisher will take place in the 2015 Sun Circuit Horsemanship Invitational on February 1, it was announced Wednesday.
Eight collegiate riders were invited to participate in the competition presented by the American Quarter Horse Association, marking the second consecutive year that the Sun Circuit Shootout will feature collegiate athletes.
Fisher has been a mainstay in the Texas A&M horsemanship rotation, with two MVP awards to go along with her undefeated season. To date, Fisher has notched six wins to account for two of the five highest scores by any Aggie in 2014-15.
The competition falls just after the Aggies open the 2015 portion of their season against Delaware State and New Mexico State on January 30-31, giving Fisher the opportunity to see her competition prior to the Sun Circuit event.
