COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggie baseball team will host the third installment of Aggieland Idol on Thursday, February 5 in the Cox Diamond Club at Blue Bell Park. Contestants will audition for an opportunity to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before an Aggie baseball game this spring.
The event, which is open to all students and Aggie fans, will take place from 6:00-8:00 pm with a 5:00 pm registration time.
Texas A&M baseball head coach Rob Childress will lead the three-judge panel. Other panelists include TexAgs' Gabe Bock, and former Diamond Darling Allison Ricke.
All singers and instrumentalists are welcome and will be asked to perform 60 seconds of a song of their choice. Interested participants should
Select members of the 2015 baseball team and Diamond Darlings will be on hand before 6:00 to greet guests as they come in. Aggieland Idol is a great opportunity to see the Cox Diamond Club and support the Aggies.
Texas A&M begins the 2015 campaign on Feb. 13 when the Aggies welcome Holy Cross to Blue Bell Park for a three-game series.
