Last time out …

Men's Team -- The Aggie men improved to 5-3 last Saturday by dominating longtime rival SMU from start to finish in the 70th all-time meeting between the two former Southwest Conference member schools. The 132-104 win was also A&M's third-straight victory over the Mustangs which is the Aggies' second-longest winning streak over SMU since the 1950s. Texas A&M won 10 of 13 events, including both relays.

Women's Team – The fourth-ranked Aggies stepped away from the college ranks for a three-day, long course meters meet at the Arena Pro Swim Series at Austin. The Aggies were up to the challenge against some of the world's top swimmers as they compiled more than two dozen U.S. Olympic Trials qualifying cuts. Leading the way was senior All-American Sarah Henry, who posted Trials cuts in six events and posted fourth-place finishes in four races.

Last Year vs. LSU …

Men's Team – The Aggie men were edged out by LSU, 157.5-142.5, in the 2014 meeting between the two teams in Baton Rouge, La. Leading the way for the Aggies was senior Omar Enriquez, who posted wins in the 500 free and 1,000 free. Also grabbing individual wins were senior Kyle Troskot (50 free), senior Paul-Marc Schweitzer (200 free), sophomore Alexandros Theocharidis (100 back), senior Adam Ruiz (1m dive) and the 200 free relay.

Women's Team – It was a sweet homecoming for Texas A&M head coach Steve Bultman, a 1970 LSU graduate, as his No. 2-ranked Aggies cruised to a 168-127 victory over the LSU Tigers at the LSU Natatorium in 2014. The Aggies swept both relays and grabbed the top two spots in seven races. Posting double wins for the Aggies were junior Sammie Bosma (50 and 100 free) and sophomore Ashley McGregor (100 and 200 breaststroke). Taking individual wins were junior Sarah Henry (1,000 free), senior Paige Miller (100 back), sophomore Claire Brandt (200 back), senior Cammile Adams (500 free) and senior Erica Dittmer (200 IM).
