COLLEGE STATION – The streaking Texas A&M men's basketball team is back on the road this week, heading to Oxford, Miss., for a date with the Ole Miss Rebels on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. inside Tad Smith Coliseum.

The league match-up will be nationally televised on SEC Network with Matt Stewart calling the play-by-play and Barry Booker providing color commentary. Additionally, radio coverage will be provided on the Aggie Sports Network, which can be heard locally in the Bryan/College Station area on WTAW (1620 AM).

The Aggies (15-5), courtesy of their six-game winning streak, enter the week in sole possession of second place in the SEC standings with a 6-2 league mark. Texas A&M sits just one game up on the Rebels (14-7, 5-3 SEC), who have won three straight contests and share third place with Arkansas, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.

During the winning streak, Texas A&M has gotten solid contributions from all across its roster, which is led by seniors Jordan Green and Kourtney Roberson. Green reached double-digit points for the sixth time this season in Saturday's win over Vanderbilt, going 4-of-5 from the floor to finish with 10 points. Roberson, meanwhile, pulled down a game-high 11 boards vs. the Commodores.

Junior Alex Caruso just missed out on being the first Aggie since Bernard King in 2002 to notch a triple-double against Vanderbilt, instead settling for his first career double-double with 14 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals.

Caruso is seeing his diligent work in the gym to improve his shooting pay off this season as he enters the Ole Miss game shooting 50.4 percent from the field, including a 40.0 percent clip from 3-point range.

Fellow junior Danuel House was honored on Monday as the SEC's Player of the Week after averaging 17.5 points while shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 72.7 percent from 3-point range in wins over Auburn and Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss, meanwhile, also stands out as one of the league's hottest teams as the Rebels enter Wednesday's duel having earned wins over Florida, Mississippi State and Missouri during their last three outings. During league play, the Rebels lead the SEC in scoring, averaging 75 points per contest, and free throw percentage, 82.9 percent.

Kilgore College transfer Stefan Moody carries the torch offensively for Ole Miss during league play, ranking second in the league by averaging 17.8 points per game. Preseason All-SEC pick and Rebel senior Jarvis Summers, meanwhile, checks in at eighth by scoring 15.4 points per SEC contest.

HOUSE NAMED SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK ON MONDAY

After helping the Aggies extend their season-long winning streak to six games, Texas A&M men's basketball junior Danuel House was named SEC Player of the Week on March 2 by the league office.

The 6-foot-7, 207-pound guard from Fresno, Texas, averaged 17.5 points while guiding the Aggies to wins at Auburn and at home vs. Vanderbilt. House shot 66.7 percent from the field, including a blistering 72.7 percent from 3-point range.

During Jan. 27th's victory at Auburn, House began the game on a torrid pace, scoring 13 points in game's first 5:16 by going 4-for-4 from 3-point range. The Fresno, Texas, native finished with a game-high 22 points, shooting 7-of-10 from the floor with an incredible 6-of-7 mark behind the 3-point arc. Back in action four days later against Vandy, House came off the A&M bench to contribute 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

AGS STREAKING DURING SEC PLAY; LONGEST WINNING STREAK SINCE `09

The Aggies enter the Ole Miss contest on a six-game winning streak, which stands out as the longest since a similar five-game stretch during Big 12 play in 2008-09. A&M's most recent seven-game winning streak during league play came from Feb. 8 through March 4, 2006.

Texas A&M's school record for a winning streak during conference play is 16 games during the undefeated season of 1919-20.

ROBERSON ACENDING AGGIE REBOUNDING LIST

Senior Kourtney Roberson joined the prestigious 500-Rebound Club last season and has continued into his senior season, moving up the list of the most prolific rebounders in school history. The Arcadia, La., native climbed three spots into 12th place on the all-time rebounding list with a six-board performance at Alabama on Jan. 6.

Roberson enters the Ole Miss game with 733 career boards, needing just two to tie Ronnie Peret (735 career rebounds from 1966-69) for 11th all-time.
