COLLEGE STATION – With the race for NCAA Tournament bids in full swing, the Texas A&M men's basketball team is back in action Tuesday night at 8 p.m. when the Aggies host LSU at Reed Arena.
Fans are invited to take advantage of several promotions that are planned around the clash of SEC foes.
OLATE DOGS TO PERFORM AT HALFTIME
The Olate Dogs, who amazed crowds at Reed Arena last season, are back for an encore performance at halftime of Tuesday's game. The must-see dog trick act won the seventh season of America's Got Talent.
SPRING BREAK PACKS
The first 200 Texas A&M students at the game will receive a limited-edition spring break pack that includes a draw string bag, men's basketball tank top and a 12th Man towel.
KING CAKE GIVE-A-WAY
In the spirit of Mardi Gras, we're giving king cakes to 10 lucky fans to share with their section at Reed Arena.
WEAR WHITE & ROCK REED
Look for marketing representatives on campus throughout the day on Tuesday as we're giving away white t-shirts to students who are encouraged to Wear White & Rock Reed.
DEON LENDORE RECOGNITION
Aggie track & field's Deon Lendore, one of the most decorated athletes in Texas A&M history and reigning Bowerman Award winner will be recognized for his astonishing feats on the track.
SPORTS PASS = FREE ADMISSION TO BASKETBALL FOR A&M STUDENTS
The same sports pass that allows Texas A&M students to pull tickets for Aggie football games will give A&M students free admission to basketball all season long. All Aggie students need to do is swipe their student ID at the student entrance to Reed Arena (north entrance).
IN-GAME CONTESTS
Several fans will get the chance to show their skills on the court during the Wells Fargo Crawl for Cash and Chick-Fil-A's 3-Point Shootout competitions. Shooting skills could net fans prizes valued from $5 - $100.
