COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies will be hosting McNeese State and Texas State for 7-on-7 matches at Ellis Field on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
The Maroon and White will play matches against McNeese State (12 pm) and Texas State (4 pm). Texas State and McNeese State will play a 2 pm contest.
The event is free to the public.
The Aggies' future schedule includes an 8-on-8 tournament in San Marcos on March 7, a 7-on-7 event with Lamar and Prairie View A&M at Ellis Field on March 28 and home full-side scrimmages against Incarnate Word (April 4) and Sam Houston State (April 7).
Texas A&M are coming of a 2014 campaign in which the team captured the SEC regular-season title and won the SEC Tournament title, becoming the first team to earn the SEC Double in back-to-back years since Florida in 2001. The Aggies earned a bid to their 20th consecutive NCAA tournament, advancing to the Final Four before falling to Virginia. A&M finished the season ranked fifth in the nation with a 22-3-2 record (9-1-1 SEC).
