COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The women's tennis match between Texas A&M and Abilene Christian, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center, has been postponed, Aggie head coach Howard Joffe announced.
Because of predicted high wins and the likelihood of rain, the coaches agreed to reschedule the match for Wednesday, April 1 at 2 p.m.
The 18th-ranked Aggies are 2-2 after defeating UT Arlington on Feb. 12 at the Mitchell Tennis Center. With the postponement of the ACU match, A&M's next competition will be its Southeastern Conference opener at No. 31 Tennessee on Friday, Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. (CT).
A&M's next homestand will be Friday and Sunday, March 6 and 8, as the Aggies play host to No. 20 South Carolina and No. 2 Florida, respectively.
