Texas A&M sophomore golfer Marijosse Navarro was one of 10 golfers named to the Annika Award Watchlist, which honors the player of the year in women's golf.
Navarro has finished sixth-or-better in all five tournaments she has played this season, and maintains a 70.93 (-1) stroke average on the season. She won the UC Irvine Invitational on Feb. 24 after a playoff, which earned her an exemption into the LPGA's Kia Classic.
The Award, which is in its second year, is selected by a group of college golfers, coaches and members of the golf media.
The Aggies continue their spring season at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Kane'ohe, Hawaii with the first two rounds on Tuesday.
