COLLEGE STATION - The No. 6 Texas A&M Equestrian team returns home this weekend, taking on the No. 4 Auburn Tigers Saturday at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Here are the #TopTen things you need to know before then:
1. As the FIRST season in the Hildebrand Equine Complex comes to a close, the Texas A&M equestrian team can look back at their most successful season since winning the National Championship in 2012.
2. Since 2006, these two programs have met eight times and the Aggies walked away victorious TWICE.
3. The Aggies are looking for their THIRD SEC victory of the season and haven't lost a conference meet in the new facility.
4. Auburn currently stands at FOURTH in the SEC, while the Aggies are holding strong in third with a 6-5 record.
5. This is the Aggies' FIFTH consecutive and ninth overall top ten match up this season
6. The Aggies are 6-0 in their home arena this year, including victories over No. 2 South Carolina and No. 5 Georgia.
7. Texas A&M is seeking their SEVENTH win of 2014-15, which would equal the number of wins in their first SEC season and is more than triple their win total from last season.
8. This is the Aggies' EIGHTH top-10 match up during the 2014-15 season.
9. A&M will honor the NINE seniors who will compete for the last time in the regular season this meet: Randi Anderson, Annie Bean, Cassie Bell, Haley Buchmiller, Leah Chenelle, Molli Jacobs, Paige Linne, Lilly Milberger and Laura Sumrall.
10. Senior Laura Sumrall currently leads the Aggies with TEN WINS, her second consecutive season with double-digit victories and owns a 29-10-1 record over four years.
