TUCSON, Ariz.- The No. 14 Texas A&M women's golf team heads to the Wildcat Invitational at the Sewailo Golf Club in Tuscon, Ariz. for a two-day, 54-hole tournament.
An A&M golfer has won each of the last three tournaments that the Aggies have played in, earning individual trophies in three straight tournaments for the first time in school history. Marijosse Navarro has won the last two tournaments the Aggies have competed in, the UC Irvine Invitational and the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Bianca Fabrizio started the streak with a win at the Florida State Match Up. The Aggies have placed at least one golfer in the Top 5 and at least two in the Top 10 of all seven tournaments they have participated in this season.
The Aggies are one of 15 teams to take to the 6,386-yard / par 72 course this week. The tournament starts at 9:30 a.m. CDT / 7:30 a.m. MST Monday with 36 holes off of a shotgun start, and concludes Tuesday with 18 holes. A&M will start five golfers, with the top four scores each round counting towards the team total.
