Sunday Game Moved to Back End of Saturday Doubleheader

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggies are moving the third game of their three-game series at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, from Sunday afternoon, to the tail end of a doubleheader on Saturday.

HOOVER, Alabama – The Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggies are moving the third game of their three-game series at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, from Sunday afternoon, to the tail end of a doubleheader on Saturday.

The lid lifter of Saturday's twin bill is slated to start at 1:05 pm. There will be approximately 40 minutes between the end of game one and the beginning of game two.

With all of the brightest minds in the meteorological industry and their weather models predicting 100% chance of rain for the majority of the day Sunday, the change was made to drastically increase the chances of playing all three games of the series.

The series begins on Friday with a 7 pm game.
