LEXINGTON, Kentucky – The Friday night tilt between the Texas A&M Aggies and Kentucky Wildcats was canceled due to continued rains and unplayable field conditions in the Central Kentucky region.
The two teams will now open and conclude the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, starting at 12 pm Central at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The two games will be seven-inning tilts, due to league travel policy. The first game will air on the SEC Network. Both games will be broadcast on SportsRadio 1150 The Zone in the Bryan-College Station area as well as on RadioAggieland.
It marks the second time in three seasons that an A&M SEC series will be relegated to two games, both on the road. In 2013, the Aggies were limited to two games in a series at Alabama.
