COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Incarnate Word Cardinals, 7-2, in a 7-on-7 exhibition Saturday afternoon at Ellis Field.
The Aggies dominated the offensive stats, including 44-8 in shots, 24-7 in shots-on-goal and 7-0 in corner kicks.
Karlie Mueller was the lone multiple goal scorer for Texas A&M, putting the biscuit in the basket twice. Mikaela Harvey and Haley Pounds each chalked up one goal and two assists. Other players to produce points for the Aggies included Stephanie Malherbe with one goal and one assist, and Grace Wright and Ana Cruz with one goal apiece.
The Aggies wrap up the spring competition schedule on Tuesday as they host the Sam Houston State Bearkats in a 7 pm contest at Ellis Field.
