Courtney Walker Named WBCA Honorable Mention All-America

TAMPA BAY- Texas A&M junior guard Courtney Walker was named an All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association today. Walker earned WBCA Honorable Mention All-American honors to go along with her earlier Associated Press All-America selection.

TAMPA, Fla.- Texas A&M junior guard Courtney Walker was named an All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association today. Walker earned WBCA Honorable Mention All-American honors to go along with her earlier Associated Press All-America selection.

Walker averaged 14.3 points per game in 2014-15 and ranks eighth at Texas A&M with 1,398 career points. She earned First Team All-SEC honors this season, becoming the fifth Texas A&M player selected first team all-conference in back-to-back seasons. She was also named to the WBCA All-Region 3 team previously this year.

The Aggies finished 2014-15 with a 23-10 record and made their 10th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
