COLLEGE STATION- Texas A&M sophomore center Jada Terry has announced her intention to transfer at the conclusion of the spring semester. She will be granted a release to transfer to another school of her choosing.
“We appreciate the contributions Jada has made for us over the past two seasons,” said Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair. “We wish her the best going forward.”
Terry averaged 3.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11.3 minutes for the Aggies in 2014-15, including scoring a career-high 11 points against Houston on Dec. 13. She made 21 of her last 24 field goals (87.5%) to close out the season.
The 6-3 center from Cedar Hill scored 144 points and had 72 rebounds in her two year career at Texas A&M. She shot 68.5% from the field in her career.
