Tori Vidales hit three home runs on the day as No. 23 Texas A&M earned a doubleheader split with sixth-ranked Auburn Saturday at the Aggie Softball Complex.
Vidales cranked two in the first game of the afternoon, fueling a 10-run third inning as the Aggies (32-12, 8-7 SEC) handed the Tigers (40-6, 12-3 SEC) their first run-rule loss of the season.
Auburn came back in game two, enduring two lengthy rain delays as the Tigers scored six runs in the final two innings to break open a close game en route to a 12-4 victory.
