Texas A&M sophomore Bianca Fabrizio was named Golfweek's national college women's player of the week for April 13-19 after winning the SEC Championship individual title.
The Treviso, Italy native shot three rounds of under-par golf to post an SEC Championship-record 9-under 207. It was her second event win of the year, as she finished two shots ahead of teammate Maddie Szeryk.
Fabrizio helped the Aggies win their first SEC team title, as Texas A&M shot an SEC Championship-record 13-under par to win the tournament by 12 strokes. The Aggies were earlier named Golfweek's national team of the week on April 7.
The Aggies have automatically qualified for the NCAA Regionals, and are making their 15th straight appearance in NCAA play. The NCAA Selection Show is Monday, April 27 at 6 p.m. on the Golf Channel.
