With the national championship fields now set for Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, the Texas A&M Aggies enter the meet with the men ranked No. 3 and the women No. 4 in the latest national team computer rankings generated by USTFCCCA.

The total combined entries for A&M in the NCAA Championships totals 30 and is the second highest tally behind the 45 entries for host Oregon.

The 15 entries for the Aggie women, the defending national champions, rank fourth best behind Oregon (22), Arkansas (17), and USC (16) with LSU (14) fifth best. Meanwhile, the 15 entries for the A&M men rank second best behind Oregon (23) and ahead of Florida (13), USC (12) and LSU (11).

Texas A&M is also one of the top teams with athletes seeded among the top 10 going into national championships. The Aggie men have 10 entries among the top 10 with Florida leading at 11 while LSU and Oregon have nine each. For the A&M women 10 entries in the top 10 equals Oregon and Kentucky while USC leads with 11.

A week from today the NCAA Championship start with a new format as competition for the men and women are held on alternate days and coverage of the meet will air live on the ESPN network channels. Competition for the men will be held on Wednesday and Friday while the women have center stage on Thursday and Saturday.

ESPNU will have coverage on Wednesday, June 10, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. (CT). Coverage for Thursday, June 11, will be split between ESPNU (6 to 7:30 p.m.) and ESPN (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.). On Friday, June 12, the day of the men's finals will air on ESPN from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Then Saturday, June 14, the women's final day will air on ESPN2 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
