COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M senior shortstop Blake Allemand and sophomore outfielder Nick Banks were named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-America squad on Saturday afternoon with both players being placed on the Third Team.

Allemand was only Aggie to play in all 64 games, starting all of them. He paced A&M with 60 runs. The Boerne, Texas native hit .339 with 14 doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 40 RBI.

With 231 games played, Allemand finished fourth on the Aggies' career list. He finished his career with a .295 batting average, 148 hits, 29 doubles, seven triples, eight home runs, 105 RBI and 32 stolen bases. He ranks fourth on A&M's career list for walks (123) and 10th for hits (241).

Banks started 63 games for the Aggies as a sophomore, batting .364 with 51 runs, 87 hits, 11 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 48 RBI and nine stolen bases.

During his two years in College Station, Banks is hitting .347 with 80 runs, 21 doubles, five triples, 10 home runs, 74 RBI and 16 stolen bases.

Allemand became the fourth Aggie to earn All-America status in 2015. Banks also picked up All-America Third Team recognition from D1Baseball.com. NCBWA honored pitcher Grayson Long and outfielder Logan Taylor on their Third Team. Long was named to the Collegiate Baseball Third Team.
