COLLEGE STATION, Texas –Texas A&M's volleyball season opener against defending Pac-12 champion Stanford on August 28 will be televised live on the Pac-12 Network. The match, which begins at 8 p.m. (6 p.m. PT) at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif., kicks off the fourth season of the network, which today announced its 92-match broadcast schedule for 2015.

Texas A&M returns all six starters – including All-America honorable mentions Shelby Sullivan, Jazzmin Babers and Stephanie Aiple – plus the libero from last year's team that went 21-9, made a fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament and was No. 22 in the NCAA's final Rating Percentage Index (RPI). Laurie Corbelli, entering her 23rd season as the head coach of the Aggies, expects to return 11 letterwinners overall plus a redshirt, and she also will welcome five freshmen when the team begins preseason practice on August 10.

Stanford returns 10 players including four All-Americans who led the Cardinal to their 16th Pac-12 title and a nation-best 19th Final Four appearance in 2014. Stanford, which fell to eventual national champion Penn State in the NCAA semifinals, finished the season 33-2 and was ranked No. 2 in the final AVCA Top 25 poll and boasted a No. 1 RPI.

The match is the first of two contests the Aggies will play at the Stanford Invitational. A&M closes out the tournament against Minnesota of the Big Ten Conference on August 29.
