COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Soccer has announced the addition of a Legacy Game to the 2015 schedule.
Â
On Saturday, August 8, the Aggies will host a Legacy Game at Ellis Field. The match, slated for 8 pm, will be the first chance for the fans to see the 2015 Aggies in action and an opportunity to reunite with former A&M legends who will be converging on College Station for a "Legacy Weekend."
Â
"We have a great group of alumni who have a wealth of knowledge and experience," head coach G Guerrieri said. "This is a great opportunity for our 2015 team, which will be freshmen heavy, to spend time with former champions and see what we are striving to become."
Â
The event is free to the public. The game will be approximately 60 minutes long and fans will have an opportunity to interact with players and alumni surrounding the event.
Â
The Legacy Game will be a tune-up for Texas A&M's exhibition game against Tulsa on August 15 at Ellis Field.
Â
The Maroon and White are coming off a 2014 season that saw the Aggies repeat as SEC regular-season and tournament champions and earn their first-ever College Cup appearance.
