Aggies win 800 free relay at US Nationals

SAN ANTONIO, Texas --- Four Texas A&M swimmers combined to win the women's 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2015 Phillips 66 U.S. National Championships on Saturday at the Northside Swim Center.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas --- Four Texas A&M swimmers combined to win the women's 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2015 Phillips 66 U.S. National Championships on Saturday at the Northside Swim Center.
 
The foursome of sophomore Sarah Gibson (San Antonio), junior Meredith Oliver (Tyler, Texas), junior Colleen Konetzke (San Antonio, Texas) and senior Sarah Henry (Garner, N.C.) touched first in a time of 8:06.07 to win the national championship.
 
Gibson turned in a split of 2:01.25, followed by 2:02.75 by Oliver and 2:02.22 by Konetzke. Henry closed out the win with the only sub-two minute split of the night in 1:59.85.
