PORTLAND, Ore.- Texas A&M sophomore golfer Maddie Szeryk fell in the round of 64 at the 115th U.S. Amateur at Portland Golf Club on Wednesday, as Bronte Law (UCLA/England) posted a 3 & 2 victory.
Szeryk and Law each won three holes apiece from No. 4 to No. 10, with neither player going further than 1 Up in that span. Law won the par 3 12th, then earned wins at No. 14 and No. 15, then halved the 16th for a 3 & 2 victory.
Szeryk was the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2014-15, and was the Runner Up at the 2015 SEC Championship.
