Aggie Golfers in Sixth after Jackrabbit Opening Round

Valentine, Neb. – The Aggie men's golf team opened play at the Jackrabbit at the Prairie Club Saturday, ending the event's opening round in sixth place.
 
Texas A&M was 15-over par on the day while Michigan State topped the team standings with a 2-over score of 290 on the day.
 
Senior Ben Crancer is the highest-standing Aggie on the leaderboard, firing a one-over 73 Saturday to own a share of eighth place.
 
The tournament continues with the second round on Sunday. The Texas A&M contingency will begin teeing off at 9:50 a.m. (CT) alongside golfers from Missouri and Oregon. Results and live scoring for the Jackrabbit can be found at GolfStat.com.
