Valentine, Neb. – Seniors Adrià Arnaus and Ben Crancer each enjoyed top-10 showings as the Texas A&M men's golf team wrapped up play at the Jackrabbit on Monday, finishing the event in a tie for third place.

Arnaus (74-65-72=211, -5) secured his sixth career top-10 showing with an even-par performance Monday to claim a share of fifth place, just two shots off the pace of Oregon's Aaron Wise who claimed medalist honors at seven-under par.

Meanwhile, Crancer (73-70-70=213, -3) was two-under for the second consecutive day to hold a share of eighth on the player leaderboard. The finish stands out as the Kirkwood, Mo., native's seventh career top-10 result for the Maroon & White.

As a team, the Aggies (303-279-284=866) shared third place in the final standings with Oregon at two-over par, while South Florida took the title at 18-below par.

"The team really battled back after a rough start to have a very respectable finish," Texas A&M head coach J.T. Higgins said. "Adrià, Ben and Chandler all had outstanding finishes but today the two Andrews [Lister and Paysse] played better and really gave us a lift. It was nice to have all five guys in the mix."

Freshman Chandler Phillips (77-70-71=218, +2) fired a one-under par 71 Monday to claim a share of 14th place.

Senior Andrew Lister (80-74-73=227, +11) and sophomore Andrew Paysse (79-80-71=230, +14) each enjoyed their best round of the tournament during the final round, finishing in ties for 42nd and 51st place, respectively.

"If we want to be successful, we are going to need everyone to contribute every time we tee it up," Higgins added. "I liked our resiliency and determination the last two days. If we play with that kind of attitude, we have a chance to be really good."

The Aggies return to action Oct. 22-24 when they travel across the Atlantic to County Kerry, Ireland, to take their swings at the The Irish Invitational at Waterville.
