
Henschel sweeps 1m, platform dives at Air Force Invitational

COLORADO SPRING, Colo. – Texas A&M freshman Tyler Henschel swept the one-meter and platform dives to highlight the Aggies' final day action on Saturday at the Air Force Diving Invitational at the Cadet Natatorium.
With the wins, Henschel, from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, raised his season win total to 17 in 24 diving competitions. Henschel won the platform dive with a score of 353.10 and the one-meter competition with a 393.30 point total.
The Texas A&M men's team got a boost when senior Ford McLiney posted a second-place finish in the platform with a score of 334.10 in his season debut. McLiney, last year's Southeastern Conference Championships Diver of the Meet, had not competed in 2014-15 due to an injury.
In other action, sophomore Courtney Hattie placed sixth in the women's three-meter dive with a score 303.55, and sophomore Colton Haffey placed seventh in the men's one-meter dive with a score of 302.55.
