COLLEGE STATION- Texas A&M's women's basketball team starts its 2015-16 campaign with its first official practice on Sunday, October 4 at 2 p.m. inside the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball. The Aggies return two All-Americans for the first time in school history.

The Aggies are under the direction of Hall of Fame and 2011 NCAA Champion coach Gary Blair, who returns for his 13th season in Aggieland. Blair, who ranks 16th on the all-time Division I coaching wins list, needs just five wins in 2015-16 to reach 700 for his career.

Texas A&M brings back four starters from a team that reached the NCAA Tournament for the 10th consecutive year in 2014-15, three of whom were All-SEC selections- Jordan Jones, Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams. Jones and Walker were also named AP All-Americans in 2014-15.

In addition, the Aggies welcome back Khaalia Hillsman, who averaged 7.9 points and 8.5 rebounds over the last 10 games of the season, after settling into a starting role as a freshman.

Three newcomers highlight the roster this season, as Anriel Howard and Danni Williams arrive as highly-recruited freshmen, and Jasmine Lumpkin is immediately eligible after transferring from Michigan State in January.

The Aggies' first public on-court action is the Maroon & White Scrimmage at 6 p.m. on October 23 in Reed Arena, followed by an exhibition against Texas Wesleyan on Nov. 1 and the season-opener on Nov. 13 against Texas State.
