COLLEGE STATION—The Texas A&M softball team opens the fall practice season Monday at the Aggie Softball Complex on West Campus with practice beginning at 4 p.m.
Coach Jo Evans and the softball team will work each weekday at 4 p.m. and the practices are open to the public.
The Aggies are coming off of a 40-20 record in 2015. The squad reached the NCAA Regional finals against Oklahoma in Norman. It marked the 26th NCAA appearance for the Aggie softball program and it was the 14th straight season for Texas A&M to advance to the NCAA Championships.
In preparing for the 2016 season, Texas A&M will play an eight-game slate in the fall. All eight contests will be held at the Aggie Softball Complex and admission is free of charge.
