Aggies Win Five Matches on Day Two of LSU Invitational

BATON ROUGE, Louis. – The Texas A&M tennis team claimed five matches on day two of the LSU Invitational Friday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Aggies faced players from Princeton, Rice and Tulane in Friday's matches; while Denver, Ole Miss and host-LSU are also in town for the invitational.

BATON ROUGE, Louis. – The Texas A&M tennis team claimed five matches on day two of the LSU Invitational Friday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Aggies faced players from Princeton, Rice and Tulane in Friday's matches; while Denver, Ole Miss and host-LSU are also in town for the invitational.
 
Juniors Frankie Colunga and Max Lunkin claimed a pair of doubles wins on the day, defeating Luke Gamble and Alexander Day along with Thomas Colautti and Ben Tso, both pairs represent Princeton. Freshman Kevin Lam and junior James Martell also bested a Tiger duo, defeating Florin Radu and Jimmy Wasserman. Martell picked up a singles win in the Bayou, defeating Eric Wagner of Tulane. Lam joined Martell in the singles winners list, besting Mark Ihrig of Denver in three sets.
