Gifford Collegiate on Tap for Aggie Men’s Golf

Carlsbad, Calif. – Playing in its final tournament of the fall semester, the Texas A&M men's golf team tees off at the 11th Annual Gifford Collegiate, hosted by UCLA, on Monday.
 
The 15-team event will be played on the La Costa Legends Course which is set up to play at 71 par and 6,996 yards. Joining the Aggies in the stout field will be Arkansas, Colorado, Harvard, Marquette, Northwestern, Oregon, San Diego State, San Jose State, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, USF, Washington and Wisconsin.
 
Constituting the five-man team representing Texas A&M during the tournament will be seniors Adrià Arnaus and Ben Crancer along with sophomores Connor Black and Andrew Paysse as well as freshman Chandler Phillips.
 
Following the trip to California, the next action on the links for the Aggies will come Feb. 1-2 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., during the Sea Best Invitational which will take place on iconic TPC Sawgrass.
