LOS ANGELES- Texas A&M seniors Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams have been named to the Wooden Award Preseason Top 30 List. The list is chosen by a preseason poll of national women's college basketball media members.

Walker, the fourth two-time All-American in A&M history, ranks eighth at Texas A&M with 1,426 points scored in her career, and sixth with 581 field goals made. She is averaging 13.5 points through two games this season.

Williams was a preseason All-SEC pick by the league's coaches, and is averaging 14.0 points through the first two games of the year. Williams has scored in double figures in each of her last 12 games, dating back to last season.

The SEC led the nation with seven players chosen to the Top 30 list. The Aggies were one of nine teams to have multiple student-athletes chosen to the list, and one of just two SEC schools with multiple selections.

Even players not chosen to the preseason list are eligible for both the midseason list and the National Ballot. The National Ballot consists of 15 top players who have proven to their universities that they are also making progress toward graduation and maintaining at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA. The Wooden Award All American Team, consisting of the nation's top five players, will be announced the week of the Final Four.

The No. 12 Aggies take on No. 14 Duke in Durham, N.C. on Wednesday, November 18 at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN3.Â
