Postgame Quotes
Jo Evans, Texas A&M Head Coach
On the team's ability to hit the long ball…
"We work hard at having power at the plate, coach (Gerry) Glasco spends a lot of time with our hitters. We drill all the time about hitting the ball hard and driving the ball to all areas of the field. So it was nice to see that hard work pay off for the team."

On the series…
"We have had a couple of very competitive scrimmages in the last two days. It was good to see both team come out and play. Pitching wise our pitchers have done a good job through both games, but the difference between the two teams was the Maroon team's timely hitting. Stepping up to the plate and taking advantage of their opportunities."

On the leadership on the Maroon team…
"We had three seniors on Maroon, we are heavy in the senior class and heavy in the freshman class. They did a good job, all of the seniors stepped up and were great leaders for their team. Cali (Lanphear) had a great couple games so far this week, really leading by example of how to play the game and get results for her team."
On what she wants to see from the White team tomorrow…
"I want to see them come out and compete, not just give up. I want to see them get after it and play the game hard. We want them to realize this could be an SEC series where things did not go your way on Friday and Saturday, but you have to fight, scratch and claw to salvage a win on Sunday. For them it is a must win to come out and prove they can compete and take a game from the Maroon team."
