BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Texas A&M junior Madison Hudkins earned Southeastern Conference Diver of the Week honors for the third time this fall after sweeping the springboard dives at the Art Adamson Invitational.
Hudkins, from Murrieta, Calif., outclassed the 20-plus competitor fields in the one- and three-meter dives to help the Aggies to a team victory at Texas A&M's annual fall invitational. Hudkins posted a narrow win over Nebraska's Anna Filipcic in the one-meter dive, 317.90-316.70, and then added a 349.95-343.55 win over runner-up Cassie Weil of LSU in the three-meter dive.
Hudkins has now won 10 of 12 diving competitions in the fall portion of the 2015-16 season, while compiling a sparkling 92-3 individual record.
