Post-Game Quotes

On the team's performance at the plate tonight…
"I thought we got a little bit careless at the plate through the middle innings tonight and we were pressing. Heading into the bottom of the ninth our players started settling down a little bit. I stress to our team every time they step into the box that they need to try to have their best at-bat. Celena Massey did a great job setting the tone in the bottom of the ninth, it was great to get the energy back into the lineup. Sometimes after you get that big lead a team tends to settle and start to let their guard down. We were able to come back and get our focus back onto each at-bat and that was great to see."
On the team's mindset heading into tomorrow's game…
"Just talking with Trinity Harrington, who will start tomorrow, I have to remind them to go at the hitters and I thought Sam (Show) did that today. I ask the team to start every game at a really high level, like we did today. Putting a lot of runs and hits together was key in addition to putting a lot of pressure on the defense with our running on the base paths."
