COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M standout midfielder Mikaela Harvey was one of 20 players selected to play for the United States Soccer Under-20 Women's National Team at the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) Women's U-20 Championship in San Pedro Sula, Honduras from December 3-13.

US Soccer U-20 WNT head coach Michelle French's squad consists of eight collegiate and 12 high school-aged players who are still playing youth club soccer born before January 1, 1996.

The 2015 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship features eight nations divided into two groups of four teams. The top two finishers in each group will qualify for the tournament semifinals, with the winners of those games along with the winner of the third-place match earning berths to the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea.

The competition will be played at Francisco Morazán Stadium and Olympic Stadium. The USA will play all its Group B games at Olympic Stadium and opens the tournament on Friday, Dec. 4, against Mexico (7:30 Central on FOX Sports 2), faces Panama on Sunday, Dec. 6 (7:30 pm Central on FOX Soccer Plus) and finishes group play against Haiti on Tuesday, Dec. 8 (7:30 pm Central on FOX Soccer Plus).

Harvey started 25 of the 26 matches for the Aggies in 2015, logging 18 points on seven goals and four assists. She earned All-SEC First Team honors as a midfielder. For her career, Harvey has played in 46 games, including 33 starts. She has 20 points on seven goals and six assists.

The Liberty Hill, Texas-native has made multiple stints with the U20 team, including appearances with the squad at tournaments in La Manga, Spain and Carson, California in 2015.
