COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies had three players earn National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region honors the organization announced over the weekend.

Sophomore midfielder Mikaela Harvey led the group, earning First Team status. Senior defender Karlie Mueller was tabbed All-South Region Second Team and sophomore forward Haley Pounds earned Third Team recognition.

Harvey started 25 of the 26 matches for the Aggies in 2015, logging 18 points on seven goals and four assists. She was named an NSCAA All-American last Friday as well as earning All-SEC First Team recognition. For her career, Harvey has played in 46 matches, including 33 starts. She has 20 points on seven goals and six assists.

Mueller started 25 of 26 matches as a senior, notching seven points on one goal and five assists. She picked up All-SEC Second Team recognition. A standout in the classroom, she also earned Academic All-District VII Second Team accolades from CoSIDA. For her career, Mueller played in 93 matches with 81 starts. She logged 22 points for her career with one goal and 20 assists, including a team-high 10 assists in 2013.

Pounds was the Aggies' leading scorer in 2015. Starting all 26 matches, she logged 31 points on 13 goals and five assists. The Woodlands, Texas-native paced the squad with five game-winning goals. She picked up All-SEC Second Team recognition. Pounds has played in 49 matches with 29 starts, logging 35 points on 14 goals and seven assists.

The Aggies finished the 2015 campaign with a 17-7-2 record, advancing to the NCAA Championship for the 21st consecutive season, the fourth lengthiest active streak in the nation. The Maroon and White advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the sixth time in school annals along with making their 14th Sweet Sixteen appearance.
